He's not so sure of it yet, but I might just skip right to the "real" foods like I did with Matty. I get a kick out of him in the high chair. Teddy can't quite sit by himself yet and looks so small in the chair. Soon enough though, he'll be sitting there eating all by himself. I LOVE those gummy smiles!!!!

Father's Day

Tyler was very excited for Father's Day and wanted so much to bring breakfast to Daddy in bed. So, that's just what we did. We did banana and chocolate chip pancakes with lots of bacon. Tyler brought Adam the iPad to use while we cooked. I thought this was a clever and thoughtful idea and one that Adam appreciated (and it kept him in the bed!).

We also did a SuperDaddy theme and it was a perfect coincidence that he slept in his superman shirt. The boys were so sweet, sang "happy father's day" and were all around giggly in the bed.

Teddy slept through some of it but finally woke up as we were finishing our food. We ended up hanging out in the bed for a while and had a great time being silly. This is my kind of start to the day. What a special Daddy he really is. All of us are so blessed to have him as our Daddy and the most perfect example I could want for my boys.

The joy of Biking!

The boys have finally discovered the joy of biking!!! There was a time last year that Tyler must have fallen and literally and figuratively would not get back up on the bike. We tried and tried and he just didn't want anything to do with it. It was sad and a bit frustrating and something I wanted so badly for him to overcome. Within the past two days, Tyler has finally decided to try the bike again and has officially fallen in love. He's been biking all the time and even fell once and got right back up on the bike.

Adam took the boys to his school after our camping night and Tyler went around the path 3 times! An entire mile!!! I was shocked and thrilled for him.

And the really exciting thing is that Matty is seeing Tyler all excited about his bike and now Matty is too. He's actually really good and get around fairly well. Most importantly is that he's doing it. We're pumped and about to take the boys back to school again this morning!
