I think little Teddy strongly resembles his handsome Daddy. It's sort of funny because he also reminds me more of Tyler as a baby and now Tyler strongly resembles me. I think it might be his nose, my guess is that Teddy will have Adam's nose and maybe even his eyes...we'll see. All I know is that he's such a little cutie!

Cousin Time
Marcin, Sara, and Fiona have been able to work their schedule out so that they could spend some nice time with our family and meet Teddy. They arrived around lunchtime Sunday and then Sara had to leave to catch a plane ride Sunday afternoon for a conference and Marcin and Fiona were able to stay until Tuesday morning. Marcin had to drive Sara to the Lancaster Airport and maybe for the first time, our family was able to spend some nice quality alone time with Fiona. It was only for a little more than an hour, but still a lot of fun. The kids spent some time finding rocks and throwing them into the creek. Fiona found a big rock and the splash got all the kids a little wet and they all giggled and giggled. It was a great sound!
We then decided to "explore" the area and take a walk around the pond. The boys wanted to show Fiona a special bridge under the weeping willow trees. They all wanted to hold hands...so, so precious!
We found some worms along the way...
They wanted to include me in the "exploration" (which I loved!)...
This picture is a bit out of order. Teddy fell asleep on Marcin when Adam and I were putting the boys to bed. Fiona and I walked downstairs and found the two of them and it was a really sweet picture and then Fiona wanted to snuggle up as well!
Anyway, after the exploration and dinner, we decided to give the kids "marry-me" bars. Marcin and I had the kids sit on the step and we were having them do all these different poses for the camera to "earn" their dessert. The belly picture is one of my favorites. The kids were so cute together and all smiley and I love Fiona checking Matty out and him being all goofy. Something about it just makes me smile because you can literally see their relationship developing right in front of us. And I love this age because we can make them do these silly and somewhat arbitrary things and they actually do it and laugh about it too!
We decided to eat the dessert out by the creek because the evening was just beautiful and the sun was starting to set. Perfection.
Teddy wanted in on the action too. Ignore the big green rock! It was a great afternoon and evening. Poor Fiona did have a cough and had some rough nights of sleep, but Marcin wins the trooper award and did his best to make her comfortable and still enjoy a pleasant visit. I especially like that it was just our two families which gave all of us a chance to really get to know each other and see the kiddos interacting in a whole new way. Matty and Fiona did such an incredible job sharing and playing with each other and would follow each other around a lot. I loved seeing that. They left around 10:30 Tuesday morning and the boys (and me) were very sad to see them leave. I have a feeling their visits together are only going to get better and more fun! Loved the cousin time!

St.Patrick's Day
Well, I am sitting at the bar drinking my coffee and it is 6:35. Got up around 5:30 to feed Teddy and he is currently in the swing sleeping as I enjoy the quiet before the craziness of the day. I was thinking about the fun things the boys and I did yesterday. We were "trapped" here because the cars eat was stuck in the stroller(?!) and it was raining outside. So I broke opened the rocket ship that jamie got us and put it together. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to figure it out! And then Ty, Matty, and I went to Mars, Pluto and the International Space Station all before 10:00am! It was a lot of fun. My favorite part of the day was eating the marry me bars on the front porch and watching the boys be so happy and carefree. We were yelling hello,to,every car that drove by and just being silly. The weather turned out to be beautiful so we just stayed outside. Today, we are planning to have a morning backyard clean-up and then bonfire with Bea and Millie. Before that, I think I will make some green pancakes and maybe fit in a run before the gang gets here? Happy St.Patty's Day!

The green light
Back to keeping up with our busy new life with three boys! After we dropped Ty off at school, I took Matty and Teddy to the doctor for my follow up for breaking my foot. We sat Matty on the floor in the hall while I got an x-ray and he was perfectly content using the. I Pad. It's actually one of those moments when I was very happy to pullout the I pad and let him play, so I could listen to the doctor. Hate to admit that I have to use it, but it was definitely much easier that way. I don't know of many two-year-olds who like to sit in a doctors office. Anyway, good news is that the foot is healed and I can slowly get back to working out and not worrying about any long term damage. Whoo hoo! I am so happy and ready to get back to exercising. Not that I have a lot of energy to do, but I will slowly enjoy moments when I can find the time to do something. Then we had just enough time to get to the grocery store and the. Back to pick up Tyler from school. I have one more appointment tomorrow with the OB and then hopefully I will get the full body green light and soon start working on getting my body back.
